I usually don't blog and comment on articles, but I am embarrassed about the entire ordeal. The cavalier attitude of the referendum being an opinion poll. The fact we are using word play on the Bahamian public. The Bahamian people did not vote to legalize, but to regularize (make regular, bring uniformity) and tax an illegal establishment. The fact that web shop gaming is made to sound like something else other than gambling and numbers. It is clear that all Bahamian acknowledge that the webshops are gambling houses. Why is there a debate about gaming. Let's see Mr. Munroe defend the word gaming.
This business has not been approved by the gaming board. It does not have the proper approvals. We now have illegal entities taking the constitution to court. What is next the drug dealer, prostitutes, murders This is cut and dry the lotteries and gaming act clearly outlines that it is illegal.
