Agreed. As the economy has tanked, crime has increased significantly here in Long Island. We all know that we are on our own up here. While drug use and criminal activity increases, more of us talk of moving away. The police are virtually non-existent.

why wasn't he charged under codes that allow him to be hanged? He committed murder while committing a felony (stole the doctor's car). String up a few of these animals and maybe some of this madness will change. Or maybe, since he was "only a Canadian".......

Long Island tolerates criminals so Long Island gets crime. And it keeps getting worse 'cause no one lifts a fingers to stop it. Businesses close and a gambling joint tales it place.
