John Braynen was a friend we met in our travels that I have never forgot. I do think he’s been told I was looking for him. I’ve talked with a lot of his old friends. Good luck! I know at one point he was a security guard at the American Embassy. I have talked to many of our mutual friends. I don’t think he wants to be found. I go regularly and know I would recognize him. A friend that he went to church with said he was on the out islands now. Maybe you know more than me. Good Luck!

Very scary and sad. All of the people visiting the Bahamas as tourists have no idea what life is like for the Bahamians. Paradise is deceiving when you know the truth. I’ve always thought that because my Bahamian friends had to work so hard in hospitality. Then you go in the grocery store and see the prices of food. The cost of gasoline. Medical care should be available to all with or without insurance.

The cruise ships have been failing inspections. There is no telling what they are doing. It’s gross. For the sake of the almighty dollar companies are destroying our natural resources. Our lakes here are so bad some dogs have died after swimming in them. I love seafood but I don’t eat it anymore for the same reasons.

I’ve been there in the 70’s. I still have a napkin from there.

Their starting to wonder. Although hanging out on the out islands are great.
