What about those that are using air compressors straight through. I saw some guys diving off Rose Island yesterday with one. Go to the Montague or any ramp around Nassau and the boats coming in will have compressors on them. These jack legs do not enforce the laws of the land. I could pull in at least three boats a day if I was a law officer but we know that our lazy ass patrol units only harass people and do not enforce the law. They do not even need to patrol, just sit at the ramps and let them come to you. Think you idiots could handle that?

What else is BEC except DUMB. They most certainly can not profess to be smart, reliable, efficient, cost effective, good for The Bahamas, a driver of our economy or anything resembling a positive to the country. BEC is one of the main nooses around the neck of The Bahamas, nothing more nothing less. What more would one expect from a government corporation?

What a bunch of idiots. They really put some brain power into this, one can smell the "burn" all over Nassau.

As the old saying goes, "there is nothing like a good cut ass to see the error of your ways."

I am of the mind that this country will have to hit rock bottom before anything changes. I therefore hope we are downgraded, I want the government to borrow more, and I hope we default soon. The sooner we hit rock bottom, the sooner we can start to rebuild and hopefully by then the Bahamian people will have woken up as to the greatest negative this country has right now, our government. Once we hit rock bottom maybe Bahamians will start to hold our politicians accountable. Maybe we will get away from tribal politics (Birdie). Maybe we will demand transparency. Maybe we will diversify our economy. So please downgrade us, we are headed to hell anyway!

Why does this happen in Nassau ALL the time? How come it does not seem to happen elsewhere? Could it be that BEC is a "special" case? Does BEC need to ride on the "short bus"?

Just the start. Our product is overused and it's due date is up. This country needs the tourist dollar to dry up so MAYBE we can build a more viable economy. We will need to educate our people, upgrade our energy grid, and diversify our economy. There are some very hard years ahead but it is my firm hope the Bahamian people and especially our new leaders will lift up their heads and march on to a brighter future. The old generation (the supposed leaders of today) need to be exiled and forgotten, they have been failures!

Banker, I concur, blatant propaganda. The reporting in this country is sub-par to say the least. Problem is, if someone was to report something of import, they most likely get shot. Not a joke, there is to much money at play. Bahamian Mafia, the government!

OK, here is one thing Bahamians can do to make OUR country better, stop littering, not rocket science but it most certainly will help our tourist product. Nassau especially is a DUMP, just check the public beaches after independence, NASTY!

What a bunch of spoilt little brats! It is a wonder this country has gotten this far, they all need a good taste of the belt.
