Why would a person that had an ounce of decency want to stay in such a corrupt organization?

The politicians have made this the truth. An uneducated voter is what they WANT. They do not want people that ask questions, have a moral compass, or to be honest. Those people can not be bought off, can see through the lie's and will not vote for scum. Keep them dumb, give them just enough, and let the good times roll (for the politician). That is how our politicians think.

I know of boat owners that refuse to go to Abaco. In their words, Abaco is "finished"!

Why would you do business in this country if you where worried about your reputation. Everyone except Birdie and Transparency International understands that the Bahamas is a corrupt nation. Woods Rodgers would not have enough rope for the pirates we have today.

Stink mouth man needs to just go in the corner and hold his disgusting breath. The story is "Sell or we will shut you down", that is how he got Nassau Flight Services. Corrupt, dishonest, crook. People know your secrets you nasty human being. Nothing without the head crook, just like his friend that can't keep a business open to save his life without the benefactor.

The biggest mistake in my life was coming home after school. Regret, that I did, this country has little to offer if you are not a follower. Ignorance and greed are the two main drivers of Bahamians. Just look at the Charlie-Charlie stupidity and you can see how ignorant even the supposed educated are. Geed, look no farther than government, Greg Moss hit the nail on the head.

We are just going to be throwing good money at a broken system. Fix the system first stupid! Also those Bahamian mothers are still going to have to toe the line behind a bunch of illegals, so who wins? We gonna get swamped. It's not like the defense force actually stops most of those rickity sailboats from the south.

What the hell does the lighthouse keeper have to do with this? The man keeps the light on, he is not a lookout.

The defense force is useless. Poachers fish at will. Boats stolen left right and center. Drugs still pass through this country on a regular. Illegals in wooden sailboats elude them. We just invested 200 million on the RBDF and they still suck at their job. Those patrol boats are tied up more often than not, or used as showboats that look pretty but do nothing for the country. That 200 million is NOT paying any dividends and was a waste of our tax dollars. Why do we have a defense force except to protect diplomats?

^^I think there is no question the man is an environmentalist, with the state of the world today, saving the natural environment is of utmost importance. It is to bad most of our leaders are interested in green when it is in the form of money. I wonder if once the fish are gone they will be able to eat that money? Nothing is as important as the earth which supports our very lives.
