Somebody needs to go to jail, this is THEFT! Also whoever is throwing OUR money around like it grows at BAMSI needs to be fired TODAY! I know you corrupt government types do not have to work for your ill gotten gains, but the common man does. get it straight, enough stealing our money!
The police should be called and the contractors held accountable. Whoever paid the contractors or signed off on them getting paid should be fired as well. You (government) want us to pay all these taxes and are throwing our money around like it is grown at BAMSI. Check stock, you may not have to work for your money but we do.
"At risk", that is what they call outright theft these days hey? I don't know about government but if I pay someone to do a job and they do NOT do said job, the police will become involved. But hey we all know there is one set of rules for us and one set for the party faithful/crony/politician. Keep it up, sooner or later the chickens will come home to roost.
http://www.thenassauguardian.com/news/5… This is what the Nation gets when cronies and party faithful are hired to do a job, nothing. So Urban hires these crony contractors, who arte paid in full yet the have not done the job. Somebody should go to jail over this. We are forced to pay taxes, why can't we force the government to be mindful of our m,oney. The P.M. in his corrupt dealings says he hopes his party supporters get most of the government contracts, well I hope you suckers end up in jail. this is stealing! Why are the police not involved????
Insurance will not be an option after this year, was hardly able to pay the last premium. Knowing how things are going this will be the year a storm hits. Seems like a perfect s#*t storm is brewing. Life is supposed to get better, guess that does not apply to Bahamians. I would jump for joy if there was anything positive about living in this country.
Fine, but we want some things in return. Freedom of Information, Fiscal responseabilty act, a corruption task force with powers to prosecute and jail, All government contracts must be transparent and open, M.P. must obey THEIR laws (public discloser), Campaign Finance laws and discloser, just to start. These M.p.'s may have a starting salery of $28,000 but only a fool would think that is all they carry home, each government board they sit on gives them a paycheck, cabinet gives a paycheck, and on and on. One other thing, it is usual to give a raise for outstanding service and a job well done, with the state of the country, who deserves a raise? Who has done an outstanding job and who really has made this country a better place for you and i? nobody!
