That 500 million will be used to build up the cruise lines private islands so they can control the Bahamian delegation allowed upon said island, How is this going to help the average Bahamian who has a business or is looking for a job? Toot your bullshit horn all you want, we know the deal. We will get very little out of the deal while those connected (read political croneys) will get fat.
The sad fact is there is only a slight rule of law in The Bahamas. Our politicians have taught us that a misdeed here or there is really of no consequence, it should be expected. A corrupt government brings about a corrupt country, murder is a by product of this fact. People are taking the law into their own hands, they feel they have no other recourse or they disregard the law utterly. This country needs a steady hand at the wheel but we know that is a distant dream.
There are no REAL leaders in this country that have the decency to fix this situation so each and every Bahamian will continue to pay the price. Boy it feels good to get screwed by your government at every turn, it really is great to be a Bahamian and be used and abused!
**We have out priced ourselves out of the market. This country is super expensive with nothing really that great about it except it's environment which Bahamians have no regard for. Cuba is going to eat our lunch while our parasitic politicians eat everything else.**
The chickens are starting to come home to roost and The Bahamas is going to reap what it has sown, poor leadership and corrupt government. We are in for some very hard times, buckle up!
The person that only see's through the PLP's tinted glasses says some one else has no vision, now that is the pot calling the kettle black. Birdie, only die hard PLP's think all is good and many of them have been grumbling. This country is in a world of hurt right now and if YOUR bumbling, crooked, corrupt, bought and paid for PLP wins the next election there will be no hope for a better future. the government of the bahamas is the problem and is killing this country!
This e-mail situation is very serious and has implications as to what sort of country The Bahamas will be in the future. Do you think any person with the money to do so will invest in this country if they can be dragged through the dirt by our parasitic politicians at will? Mr. Fitzgerald is playing with fire and the country stands to get burnt.
