As they say, the truth hurt's. Corruption is the order of the day in The Bahamas. Where else can you have M.P.'s that do not obey the law and nothing happens? Where else can you have a man in charge of a new tax that is a proven tax dodger? The leaders of this country are crooked and the people see that, why do you think this country is so lawless? We have traded one set of almighty masters for another, they are just of a different hue. They can fool most, but not all!
Stop stealing from the Bahamian people! A bonus is given for doing an outstanding job, not for showing up to work. These people live in a world that is not sustainable. I wonder if they would pay themselves in such a manner if it was THEIR company? Not a chance because there would be no company!
What does this man have to be proud about? Look at his constituency. It is one of the most dirty, rundown, crime infested, disgraceful, area's in the Bahamas. He has not even been able to make sure his people can nanny inside on a toilet. One wonders why the people vote him in, but we all know the answer to that don't we!
The simple fact is The Bahamian people are out in the least 100 million dollars. We will never see that money again. Legal thievery, sweet words will never change that fact!
Every single Bahamian is paying the price for these B.E.C. employee's. The simple fact is THEY are part of a company that THEY have run into the ground. The other fact is that WE as Bahamian taxpayers and electricity consumers are being held hostage by these failures. Every single person that gets a salary from B.E.C. is pretty much stealing from The Bahamian taxpayer. If the company is in debt. to the tune of 450 million then there is no way ANY B.E.C. employee should get ANY bonus until the company is out of debt and MAKING money. That is how it works in the REAL world. You greedy, unpatriotic, failures, are holding the entire country back!
So the man is saying the reason the roads are not being fixed or are fixed in a shoddy manner is the fact that the job is given to a party supporter instead of a company that knows what it is doing. That is called cronyisum and it is killing this country! This is a form of corruption. Tribal politics at their best, the whole nation suffers.
Also in what La LA land do workers get a BONUS for running a company into the ground. I do not understand how a company that is dead broke can give a bonus. OH that's right the asswads are stealing that bonus from the Bahamas taxpayer. So lets reveiw, they give us shoddy service, they run the company into the ground, we pay four times what we should be paying, they shut off our current because they are not happy, we pay them a bonus. That makes perfect sense!
