We all know that the only reason the government did not want the chapter 11 in the U.S. is because it would have caused ALL contracts to become public with regards to Baha Mar. That is why they went bonkers, to protect themselves, just like the affair out west. Funny how with Baha Mar is was to protect our sovereignty and then with the affair out west they wanted to bring in the F.B.I and the I.R.S., I guess when you are trying to cover your own ass whatever works is just fine and dandy. PUNKS!

I would love to save a dollar or two but the sad fact is there is nothing left to save. I have cut out just about everything that can be cut over the last 4-5 years and yet i am just barely holding my head above water. These politicians have fucked this country so hard that everyone I speak with is in the same boat and not one soul has any hope for a brighter future anytime soon. This is what you get when the political class is immoral, unethical, dishonest, corrupt, and their only goal is to retain power. The people at the top are squarely to blame for the state this country is in and they are the only thing holding this country back.

Have they moved the sunken craft on the north side that are leaking fuel. These craft have been there for how long and nothing has been done. Just another example of the government of The Bahamas being a failure.

If they gonna start locking people up for "contempt of parliament" then about 90% of Bahamians gone get lock up. The government of the Bahamas is the single greatest threat to The Bahamas there is, bar NONE!

Government is supposed to be the upholders of law and order, where are we headed when government itself seems to be the leader when it comes to breaking laws? Why is Joe Bahamian held to one standard and the political parasites to another?

asiseeit says...

We need some instruction in this country as to what a real leader is. At this time The Bahamas is a parched land and withering on the vine due to our lack of true, honest, balanced, leadership. Today the political elite who are at the forefront of our country are lacking in basic leadership, honesty, morals, and ethics. This same political elite, are parasites upon our land, they sure do take, but the nation receives little to nothing except, ineptitude, mismanagement, corrupt practices, contempt, lawlessness, and in general a flippant attempt at some sort of standard of morals and ethics. In short, this same political elite is the cancer that is killing our country. Please show one Bahamian what it takes to be a real leader of a nation.

Birdie, if the truth was golden, you still would be to bias and tribal to take it.

Comrade Tal, I know of only one supposed billionair in Lyford Cay that has a broken our laws. I know of only one supposed billionair that has thumbed his nose at successive governments, doing exactly as he please's contrary to the law of the land. You come to my country, you should obey the law just as I am required to do. I know not about the rest of this dirty affair except it is damaging our country.
