Also why not get with the times and use VIDEO like they do in the states. Or maybe move the courts by the prison. Rocket science I know but maybe just maybe, these would reduce the danger, noise, escapes, and harassment of the general public.
All I will say is T. Wells is a very self serving man, this is being said to help Mr. Wells in some way. I also know of his sketchy term as Minister of Argiculture and his (under his wife's name) very questionable fishing practices as seen by myself in Abaco. Because of this I truly doubt Mr. Wells has the best interest of The Bahamas at heart and have no doubt he has HIS best interests well taken care of.
I thought I could vote for Minnis but as of right now I think I may sit this one out and abstain from voting as **not one slime ball politician out there is worth my vote!** The Political class is destroying our country and when the Bahamian people blow up in their face it is not going to be pretty.
What have we the people of The Bahamas received from all of this money? Have they fixed anything (infrastructure), have they invested in anything (education), I really could not point to any benefit to the Bahamian people in the expenditure of these monies. This is one of the main problems I have with the PLP, **the Bahamian peoples money just seems to disappear and a bunch of PLP's all of a sudden have money to burn, just look at BAMSI.**
And deep seated **corruption** is tearing at the PLP. I will take those divided before those corrupt, at least I may stand a chance with those divided.
How about the police put some thought into reducing or eliminating the level of noise and harassment ordinary Bahamians put up with during the transfer of prisoners. Why the blaring sirens? Why the ungodly speed? Why are law abiding Bahamians run off the road because of the transfer of prisoners? Why must we listen to your ungodly loud sirens? The transfer of prisoners is blatant harassment of law abiding citizens on the road and in their homes. If any Bahamian was to conduct themselves in the manner the police do in the transfer of prisoners, they would be arrested and before the courts. Maybe the police can start to lead by example and follow the law as it relates to public nuisance noise and driving in a dangerous manner!
Bahamians have a choice, either stop bickering and do what is best for the ENTIRE country or continue as we have been doing. It is painfully obvious that how it is going now is totally unsustainable. The mismanagement of our country must be put in check. There have been great strides in the last 50 years but there are just way to many practices that are very unhealthy for the entire Bahamas. We ALL know what these practices are and we all know who is guilty of using these practices for personal gain. These are the real enemy's, Bahamians just need to stop falling for their smoke and mirrors.
