Perry Christie has no concept of what the environment of The Bahamas consists of. He is a city boy who most would bet does not even know how to swim. The man probably has never caught a crab, speared a fish, or dove a reef, he is clueless when it comes to what makes the Bahamas so special.

And the civil service just unzipped it's pants in anticipation of the gluttony that will be NHI. You think we have a problem with corruption now, just wait for NHI. This country is in for a very bumpy ride that quite frankly may be the straw that breaks the camels back. I wonder why nobody has that warm fuzzy feeling about the future except the politicians and civil servants?

Nothing to see here, just another set of Bahamians getting grind with not a drop of vaseline to ease the pain. That is how the PLP government of the Bahamas rolls, they screw everyone but their own!

If the P.M. is so god fearing then why is he so UN-christian. It is a sin to LIE, and we all know he is the head teller of fibs. I would say a sense of GREED is more of a driver of our P.M. than a fear of god.

The insurance agency's and the doctors are our only hope of any transparency or accountability being put forth by government on NHI. They MUST demand that government come clean and is honest with the people. NHI is going to be the biggest sector of the already bloated civil service, the costs are going to be astronomical, and only a fool would think our government had the ability to manage and control these costs. NHI scares the hell out of the Bahamians that see the reality of our wasteful, bloated, mismanaged, corrupt, ineffective, government.

The minister sending the fox into the hen house to root out his friends somehow does not make me feel all warm and fuzzy.

Agreed, but the bigger question is will there be a health hazard due to Mold and mildew?

Why is it that whenever a lawyer misappropriates funds all we hear is they must pay the money back. In the real world what this man has done is considered theft, his dishonest and criminal actions should have landed him in Fox Hill. We all know you lawyers are one big fraternity of dishonest, lying, sacks of excrement but maybe you could at least try and make it look like justice has been done.

The jet ski's need policing in the worst possible way. It is well known that a few sell drugs and it is also well known that a few molest women. they also ride like complete idiots, close to other boats, the shore and docks at breakneck speed. Their machines are not well kept, I know as I have towed a number of tourist in to the beach after they have broken down. The entire industry is just shady!

The biggest worry is the fact that ALL Bahamian politicians seem to put self and party before nation. When will we get some real patriots to serve the nation or are we stuck with this set that only want to enrich themselves?
