I would vote for a woman as long as she was a capable manager, was honest, fair, ethical, and had morals, in other word everything our current P.M. is lacking.
This is the Bahamas and as such the citizens expect to get screwed by government. The government of the Bahamas is a failure and could not manage to wipe it's own ass.
To ALL politicians, you failures are the cause of this, each and every one of you due to your greed, petty politics, and corruption. How very proud you must be in creating a country that has children mourning a beloved teacher and cowering in fear of crime. How any politician in this country can be proud of the job they have done is beyond me. You are failures, there is nothing to be proud of and you should hang your heads in shame!
These people are trying to make sure this country is saddled with the PLP in 2017. I wonder if they really are paid to do this shed by the PLP? It most certainly is Mr. Moss putting himself before his countrty.
There are to many "eye's" on BAMSI now and they can not skim as much off the top so why do any work when you can't get that kickback. BAMSI was and is a slush fund to pay crony's like the slime ball Audley Hanna. The police need to do a forensic inspection of his accounts. All money stolen from the people of The Bahamas in this scheme need to be recovered, the culprits charged and sent to rot in Fox Hill.
Hey, you better step back. You are just a Bahamian taxpayer, you have no right to ask such questions. You are over stepping your bounds and need to sit small. The PM is a demi-god and needs to stay at the best hotels and have the finest there is to offer and you as the person that ultimately will be paying for these things in the form of taxes have no right to ask the above questions.
Bahamas waste need not worry, our illustrious (in his own head) Prime Minister has said that things with Baha Mar will be "dead good soon". Just tell your investors that and they should be very happy.
Also Mr DPM, not all Bahamians are so dumb that they can not see you are loading another tax on us, we also expect you to charge VAT on that tax because we know you politicians are the greedyest creatures on this earth.
The only saving grace in this whole ordeal is the fact our corrupt, inept, government will no longer be in management of BEC. The whole Bahamas should be grateful for this minor miracle. There might be a chance BEC can actually be a benefit to The Bahamas without sleezy politicians interfering in its day to day operations.
"he stressed that the government will pay for the first and second phases of NHI, ruling out any possible tax hikes." What a load of Bull. The Bahamas is BROKE, government borrows money every month just to pay the civil servants, where is the money going to appear from? Every Bahamian will be fleeced to pay for this plan that as always with the government of The Bahamas will be rife with corruption, theft, and mismanagement. Is there any wonder right thinking Bahamians are not getting that warm fuzzy feeling when told NHI will be shoved down their throats?
