Birdie, I thank you for always giving my children an example as to how fool some people can be. You are the poster child for why education is so needed in this country. Always good for a WTF moment, thanks.
I am a Bahamian and I walked Bay St a couple days ago, what a disgrace. I was asked if I wanted to buy drugs 4 times, was harassed by people hawking their wares every few steps, was disgusted by the smell of urine, and in general thought it a very unpleasant experience. If this is what our officials think is a world class destination, they have very different standards than anyone I know. Maybe they should dress down and go undercover to see what real people deal with when on that blight of a street.
The DNA will not get my vote........not in the next election.....I want someone who knows how to manage a business to run The Bahamas. I want a manager who is willing to set this country back on course, will fire the dead weight, bring back the rule of law and encourages a fair and balanced society. Every Bahamian must be given the same opportunity to get ahead, not just those that are politicly connected. The DNA is a side show and will only guarantee that the band of thieves we have in power now continue on their path to ruin for the nation.
Birdie is so busy defending the PLP she can not be objective or truthful. This type of one way street thinking is exactly what has brought the Bahamas to where we are, one step away from anarchy and a failed state. The corruption in this country is rife and most politicians see corruption as an entitlement, just as our P.M. or that clown Bodie, they believe they are entitled to suck off the public treasury's teat. Banker is correct, this country will implode before we see real progress and change to this unsustainable practice. I am looking forward to the watching cut hip these politicians will get when this does happen.
Many Bahamians believe that the PLP is a criminal organization, they most certainly do not uphold the rule of law. Look no further than Blackbeards cay to see proof of this.
