It is good to hear that those who were lost to the hurricane will be remembered, but their are also' living victims' of this disaster, victims who are still homeless and struggling. 4 million dollars would go along way in helping to rebuild the lives of living victims. We have to stop celebrating Hurricane Dorian at some point and carry on with life, a small memorial , maybe a statue to the victims will suffice, all these celebrations like what was being planned on the three year anniversary are totally unnecessary and too much for a disaster that we should be able to move on from as survivors.

Giving these people these positions will not change or help anything because their replacements in the unions will step in and continue the fight, additionally once these people become a part of the government ministries they will assume the agendas that these ministries are currently pushing.

I totally agree this government has to be given an opportunity to do the job they have been mandated to do. We all need to realize that this 'New Day' will be five years long, not 24 hrs.
Victimizing those on the other side will only make the job a lot harder.
It is too soon too for this government to be judged and it is also too late for the previous government to be blamed.
We all need to stand behind this government and get on with our nation rebuilding

Haiti is in crisis, but before the earthquake they had a Covid crisis. Opening our borders to this will cause our struggles with Covid to be even harder.

If that is the policy that we agreed to then why are the sloops that leave from Haiti are being turned over to the defense force as well.**Strong**

A very good question, this is what happens when they catch those Haitian sloops coming to America, they bring them back into Bahamian waters and hand them over to our Defense Force for processing so that they can be a burden to our country.
