This is no surprise. First, we had the issues from the referendum and then we had the surge of last minute registration, we all know the register was not ready. I lay the blame firmly at the foot of the Prime Minster. He was warned that the register was a mess, he could have delayed calling elections for a few weeks to sort out those issues. Hall has his share of blame but the Govt should have waited.
I have never seen a bunch of people so eager to get FIRED!
If Minnis or any of the independents are worth their salt, they will look seriously into this matter to determine if the process was flawed and if it is so they should think about getting a court injunction to stop this fiasco and have these polls declared null and void.
I am a student at the Cave Hill Campus of UWI and today was a total disaster!!!!! Tomorrow the polls will open for a SECOND day to accommodate students who were unable to vote because the ran out ballots in some constituency and others had no ballots at all! Can you imagine that?? Less than 100 students, names missing from the register, counterfoils missing and insufficient ballots. I shudder to think what will happen on the 10th in the Bahamas!!
**Who cares, because I certainly don't.** The PM has failed to do anything about crime in 5yrs. Every time there is a murder in those communities there are Bahamians who live several streets away from that crime. The life of his wife and daughters is no more valuable than the lives of the rest of us. We pay for their security while Christe has failed to protect us! They ought to be ashamed to go in Farm Road asking those poor people to support a man who clearly FAILED them. Lights off, no running water and outside toilet but y'all begging those poor people for votes! Y'all have no shame!!
For the love of God plz, someone, anyone, talk some sense into him and encourage him to step aside and go take care of himself. That was painful to watch.
There are others right in the FNM who are patiently waiting to unseat Minnis if they win and that time will come sooner than you think.
The entire FNM brigade knows that Minnis was not the right choice but Loretta was the only one with guts to come forward at that time and challenge him.
Minnis' handling of the FNM in the past 5 yrs is all the proof you need. This election we will vote for the lesser of two evils.

BJ Thanks for your decades of Public Service but POPS, it's time to let it go!! I could see the baton in your hand.
