Ok, I am no expert. I see new engines and overhaul costing in the billions. I see Health care for every last Bahamian in the Billions. I see NIB in trouble. I see terrible roads. I see a poor bus system. I see Bahamas Air always owing millions. I see policeman, water and sewage , nurses, doctors and teachers ALL wanting more money every year. I see successive governments constantly increasing taxes. I see a dirty downtown and a.dirty New Providence. I see a dirty prison . I see politicians enriching their friends, family and lovers. Did I miss anything. I do not see any way out for the Bahamas . All I see is grief. Oh, I missed the immigration problem inundation our schools, Healthcare and social construction.Tell me , is there any good news out there?
Nothing you can do about it . It will continue , and they will be more emboldened. The Rubicon has been crossed. The only thing to do is cut the head of the snake off.
Every decision for the past 20 years has been nothing but bad news for this Bahamas. We might as well face it, we are a failed state, on all fronts. Thankfully, we have sun, sand and sea because we absolutely have nothing else. Increase, increase, increase has been the order of the day for 20 years.
Same thing is happening in America. People whome need help need to be locked away. How many headlines have we read about a young man or woman stabbing his/her grandmother or grandfather to death in the last three years, in the Bahamas? People with mental issues need to be in a hospital. In America, the same thing is happening. People are afraid to offend other people , and it becomes political.
Bring it,minister. It is about time for a.fresh wind. We get the same old , boring performances around here. We need to bring in fresh new ideas. Bring the festival. Our leaders in theater can learn one or two things. They need a lot of help with the boring , repeatable independence day show. It is the same boring show.
