Because they do not not the law. Many bahamians buy their drivers license from the staff at road traffice, it is alleged. If they buy their license and did not take the test, how will they know the rules of the road? Policemen and pastors plead with the public about crime, but the criminals do not listen to the news or read the newspaper.
Here comes the teachers, then water and sewage, then police, then the nurses , then the doctors, then the prison officers, then the taxi cab drivers, then the bus drivers, then the gas station owners, then the politicians..... and the beat goes on.
Tell that to the unruly parents. If they discipline them, it would be easier for the teachers. They come to the schools to fight along side their kids.
Were they all sick with sick slips? If so, all the honest doctors should be investigated and brought before their ethical board. Do we just continue to be dishonest and carry-on as usual? Let me know , so I can alter my ways.
