How many bahamians are walking, driving and going about their normal lives on 5 to 9 warrants of arrest? The police do not care, no one does . This place is not a real place.We all know whete the criminals are and hangout, we kmow wjom the drug dealets are, we knew where the number houses were, yet nothing was done. As of late, we know where the whorw houses are as well, yet the police do nothing. The law only applies when they want to smear your name.
So changing from 16 to 18 to protect minors does not protect minors just makes more minors. Need to amend the penalty for the breaking of the law , and shut down loopholes. Need to make it illegal for minor under the age of 18 to enter a club or dance. If they enter, charge the club owner. What happens when an assumed 18 yr old gets into a ompromising situation in a club ? Who is to blame? Is the individual assuming the age of 18 or is it the club owner whom shohld not let people under a ertain age in the club? Just saying that other measures need to be strenghtened or added.
What about bahamians vs anyone else? Bahamians cannot travel to the states unless vaccinated, americans can.Do Americans have the same privilege as Bahamians in this matter? If so, I might as well change my citizenship. I hope it is not the case because I get penalized in America for being a foreigner, I cant get penalized for being a bahamian in my own country. Rape is wrong, but whom is to decide if she wasnt taking advantage of the 40 year old? She had sex several times, she went to his house passing several adults along the way. She may have been manipulating him for every dollar he had in the world..
Ok, hold on for a sec, what if the 14 year old manipulated the 40 year old , despite the age difference. Wr are assuming the 14 yr old is ignorant. Now, don't get me wrong, It is wrong what happened, but , what if the 14 yr old went out seeking a sugar daddy intentionally ?
