New direction? Fritzgerald, shane, forbes, loretta , all are coming back. This is all the same old, same old. Neither the fnm , plp or any other political group seems to go in any direction besides reward their faithful friends, lovers, and family.

This apparently goes on all day and night in that place. the only things they are concerned about are their raises, pensions and other benefits. Those are their primary concern. anything else is secondary and that includes smiling with the patients and treating them like humans.

PMH is a governmental agency. What happens in agenvies? They steal all the people's money, show up to work at 9:30 am, leave for lunch at 1pm and do not return because they have to pick up their cbildren, don't work on Friday, sit at work all day and do nothing, hide behind unions, want raises, play each political party every 4 years, did I miss anything? Oh, they are very short and rude with patients and family members, and are really not interested in their profession....it is evident on their faces. So , I keep hearing around town, don't know if any of this is true, though.

well, minister Pia-Rolle is telling Private businesses to hire individuals from the 52 week programme , and Minister bell is saying that there will be an increase in minimum wage. Someone mentioned that their employer is cutting staff by 50% at the company where she works . Now how does this work? Sit back and eat your popcorn. Government wants you to be lenient , but wants you to pay taxes at the end of the year. If employers are lenient to employees, then government needs to be lenient to employers.

Minister , why dont you start a.business and hire some people. Why dont you encourage more businesses to open, and you and your ministers start one?

Yeah , with minimum wage going up....what are you thinking? You want people to hire more staff, and you also want them to pay more while the government collects business license fees ? Everything is going up in the country including NIB soon . The employer had to pay and bahamians want credit. Wow, what a pickle.

Ya need.population controll as well. You cant have 25 year old mothers with five children and no job. You must do something with the five sperm donors that contributed. It is a hampster wheel. We have majority entry level jobs and entry level education individuals . We have a.problem that needs.a.comprehensive solution and our politicians cant think past their fat pensions. Business' are downsizing now , so i can imagine the joblessness.
