There is hipe for the future for who? Only the politically connected see some hope. Prices increase on a weekly bases , taxes increase yearly, real estate is out of controll, the lower income neighbourhoods lòk worse every year , the island looks like a giant slum with komone with an appreciation for esthetic enviromental beauty except the hotels, students are.graduating in.a.bottleneck economy fighting for the best paying government job, there is no hope here. Happy independence because once you have a flag flying on your car, all your burdens are gone.
Celebrate a sovereign bahamas when the world tells us what to do and bullies us if we dont. Such a deceitfull thing to say. These worda sound good, but the reality is, we are not sovereign. America is a bully ,but yet, they tell their citizens it is wrong to bully people.
Poor service. I was watching the spelling bee competition last night , and the channel had an error signal in the middle of it. This is always the case. Channels are consistantly going off every week. We are paying verh high cost for third world service, and Cable Bahamas thinks that beautiful commercials make it better. I have to hope and pray when i watch a.channel. I say, just maybe, just maybe the channel will not go off.
What? Everything in this country takes long to completion. If you hand out money in any government agency, you will get work , that is in their normal description , done.
Need to go corruptionless first, gain the respect of the populace, teach officers professionalism, make it mandatory for them to exercise. Half of them are overweight and cannot run down a suspect ect.....
Long and short of it, Mr. DAVIS , is your party ready if it were called for next month? I can say with some certainty that the answer is yes. So, why all the noise ? Politics is fun.
