I think we need a middle ground approach to this. we do not have it 100% correct when it comes to reprimanding children , but neither does the rest of the world in their progressive approaches. The vaccine is 60% effective, not accepted by some European countries, not recommended for anyone over 65, developed for developing countries, and not approved by the FDA, an American institution, so really nothing to do with European policies. The vaccine produced by Pfizer and Moderna is 94% effective. No matter where you go in the world, 60% is a failing grade. I guess , just like our D average. We shut the country down because of our citizens over the age of 65 , and now, we get a vaccine that doesn't work on them? Where is the logic in this?

ok , let us just increase VAT to 25% and problem is solved. You do not need to have a degree to recommend exactly what the government wants to do. They need money , and the only entity that has apparent money is the people. I cannot understand why people with business and finance degrees are hired in the government if they increase taxes every time to solve a financial problem. You have the degrees, use them and solve our problems without increasing taxes.

So true, beforw VAT, if you walked into NIB , you had scores of employees walking around doing nothing but gossiping. Fire employees from each govetnment agency that are not needed also. Too many political appointees sucking up money for just showing up , not to work, just showing up.

Actually, I can't afford to live up to a standard of the latest Apple iphone, Gucci sunglasses, land Bag etc, because i can't afford to buy them. i am not going to buy them and let the landlord put me out, let BEC turn my electricity off, water and Sewerage turn my water off etc. it has more to do with a an entitled mindset than the have's and have's not. None of these comments are degrading anyone. We all fall on hard times , and we all will need help at some point in life. That does not rule out making a better financial decision when a decision needs to be made.

Well, it is better in the bahamas for foreigners not bahamians. They come here with millions , and this place is their playground. We have no money, we serve the people with the money, simple.
