I thought we didn't like foreigners coming here. Send them back, we don't need their help. We can help ourselves. Send those white foreigners back. I get it, we only want their money, we don't want them.
Listen , these people have no clue just like the rest of the world's health care specialist. The only way is to socially distance ourselves, wear a mask, wash our hands and of course, lockdown. These are the only measures, besides the vaccine , that we have, period. With specialist's advice changing by the second, whom knows? Dr. Fauci said months ago that masks do not work, and he is an expert.
Correction, Violence is spiraling out of control, all forms of it. Gang violence, Domestic Violence, Violence against teachers, policemen, and civilian car accidents. The country is angry on the whole.
who needs to find a balance, the people breaking the lockdowns and partying or the people abiding by the social distancing, mask wearing and sanitizing? During lockdowns, if people are still going to bars, having air BNB parties, not social distancing and not wearing masks, what do you think will happen? Will the lockdown be successful, or is it the workplace's fault when these same people take the virus to work?
First thing we have to do is keep the electricity on consistently for many years. Once BEC is able to do that, it will have the confidence of the populace. Secondly, the internet service needs to be consistent. We talk about having everything online, yet the foundational systems are not in place to accommodate the services. This leads to daily frustration, and I mean , daily. The power was off out west last week for 6 hours which caused a surge in a friends generator. He has to get it fixed now. My daughter was doing her college classes online at the same time that occurred. This is very unfortunate. Let us not deceive ourselves, we are far from being where we need and want to be and constant pretty ads on tv will not change that.
So, let me get this straight, Bahamians want to open up? If so, why do they complain about trump wanting America open? You should agree with him. Trump wants.the Democratic governors to open up their states. Minnis wants to close us down. Bahamians complain about being closed down , yet criticize trump for wanting the governor's to open their state up. You should think about it.
