As we put down our computers, cell phones, cut off the air conditioner in our cars and houses, remove the 6 faucet showers, throw away our computer watches and other high tech gadgets, and stop buying our designer clothes, shoes, and jewelery. Hogwash at best! Let's stop playing games unless we are ready to go back to 1960
Very tricky, isn't it ? A few articles above, the gentleman speaks to numerous CAT 4's and 5's hitting the Bahamas from 1866 to present . Did we cry Global Warming in 1866? I can't speak for world leaders, but if they truly believed in Global Warming and tides rising, why did the former president of the United States , Barack Obama, purchase or attempt to purchase a 15 million dollar home on Martha's Vineyard on 29 acres of beachfront property? If he has all access to information in the world and buys a beach front home , what does that say about Global Warming?
19 million? We live in the Bahamas where contractors always under bid on projects. So it will take 19 million multiplied by 3, and that will be the true cost. Then again, I know nothing about estimates, BAM!
What in tarnation is this garbage. Do we not consume fish , conch ,lobster etc , more than red meat? Also, our consumption pales in comparison to the consumption of America and China. If we totally gave up all red meat in the Bahamas, it would not have any significant result on the outcome of global warming. Spare me your liberal intellect.
they beg for the positions, promise that they will do a job, may accomplish one or two things that they said they would do..........10 years later.......national Heroes. What is that all about?
