A different spectrum? I hope this was just a word misquoted by the reporter, perhaps he actually said sphere. I like the idea of dash cams and body cams. Ones that the officers can never turn off while on duty. Recorded footage of police killings subject to review by a panel not answerable to the RBPF.then I could start to have some faith in the organization again.
I trust that this will apply across the board, from top to bottom and include the governor general who presumably is receiving a salary for the post held and also the bloated pension awarded to hher husband which has cost us, the taxpayers, three and half million dollars so far.

Only two countries ever successfully beat the war machine created by Bonaparte; England, with massive help from the Prussians, and the other one was Haiti. As well as being courageous, Haitians are mostly hard working by nature. They are one of the countries that, unlike the Bahamas, does not have a majority of it's citizens suffering from preventable diseases caused by obesity. Haiti, unlike the Bahamas, is not amongst the countries with the highest incidence of murder per capita, or the highest incidence of rape per capita in the world. But despite this, some of the posters on this site still seem to think that Bahamians are somehow superior to Haitians. Haiti is an economic mess due to the lousy dictatorial leaders that have governed the country and the almost insurmountable reparations the country was forced to pay the Europeans upon the founding of the republic. The economic success of the Bahamas is due to its physical location, in close proximity to America, combined with the foresight of Sir Stafford Sands in developing a mass market tourism business, and Sir Harold Christie using his business acumen to establish this country as a desirable location for the rich and famous to purchase a second home. It was not due to some innate superiority of the local genome. The country will assimilate all immigrants and be stronger for it.
Defacing the flag, or flying it upside down? Immediate jail time. Listening to the National Anthem while in the bathroom or while washing dishes? Immediate jail time. Suggesting that God did not give this country only to people who support the PLP, or suggesting that Swindling was not really Moses sent by God, Immediate jail time. Eating any food that is not Bahamian such as them American hamburgers, immediate jail time. Lets see some national pride and true patriotism and lets put every one else in jail. KFC is Bahamian, isn't it???
*Both of these honourable gentlemen are getting very large pensions after working as prime minister for only 8 years, The country cannot afford to be so generous even though one of them arguably does deserve it, the other deserves nothing for his disastrous term presiding over a cabinet of ministers tarred by allegations of egregious corruption. The wife of the Bahamas first prime minister continues to receive his pension despite the fact that she only worked for a short time her whole life. When the drug smeared PLP Pindling was first given this pension by his sycophantic cabinet colleagues I remember being surprised to fin out that it was so much higher than that of the British prime minister who had governed 55 million instead of our paltry quarter million. But this is just how we third world counties do things, look at Zimbabwe right now.
