you are wrong reality check (reality chicken?) the fnm consolidated because of perry the credibility gap.tyhe prospect of this sick old man sleeping at the helm of the ship of state for another 5 years was worse than coming to an an accommodation with political rivals.
al jarrett was a well spoken idiot who sold his honour to the plp for a political appointment. most of what i heard him say on the radio and what he wrote in the newspapers in the run up to the last election was garbage.
there is obviously something wrong with birdie. at a guess i would say unmarried, very few friends, goes out very rarely and probably is disabled in some way. birdie does not have a real job but is paid by one of the many plp crooks to provide media responses that attack the fnm. hopefully outof a job on friday.
did shane pay national insurance contributions on his $5,000 per nonth? alittle boy \\\\\dlso i have heard that birdie strachan is an active chaser of little for immoral purposes.
Rampant Crime is a symptom of how sick the nation is. As a nation we are greedier and lazier than any other country in the world bar two. This means we are the third most obese country in the world with extremely high rates of diabetes and extremely high rates of heart diseases both of which are consequent on our greed. The mind is intimately connected to the body, a sick mind often, but not always, is housed in a sick body. we have been breeding monsters and because we have not been able to train these monsters how to behave, they have turned on us, killing, raping, and robbing. Sad to say, on a macro level I can see no solution and I fear for my grandchildren
the elephant in the BAMSI's room is the availability of freshwater. Agriculture uses a huge amount of fresh water and we simply do not have it. Florida is a huge landmass compared to Andros but it is sinking due to the depletion of its fresh water qualifiers. Fresh water in Andros will go the way of that the Monk seals in the Bahamas did when the Europeans arrived en masse. You don't see many Monk Seals about now, do you?
do I trust credibility gap christie or evil ol' unca Bernie to keep my private stuff private? Heck no, I dont trust them to wash my dishes without stealing the silver. I'm still waiting for our commissioner to raid a web shop gambling den as he promised to a year or two back. As for our attorney general, well I dont need to say anything, just look at her record. Scary times, 1984 here we come.
Is this the same Ms Bethel, that as one of her first acts in safeguarding the wealthiest government institutions, money held in trust for the Bahamian people was to take a couple of million dollars of our money and buy ambulances for PHA and then boast about it as if is was the correct thing to do. She should have used her own money not yours and mine.
Yes I know that PMH needed the ambulances because of their systemic incompetence but her job is to safeguard that fund for future generations not to make political brownie points and support other dysfunctional government institutions. From what I understand the fund is already grossly compromised by dubious investments.
"One is hopeful that this is a trend we can keep doing......."
What trend? What did I miss?
The increasing lawlessness of the Bahamian people? or maybe the trend to elect people over seventy who really are not clued in to the modern way the world works?
