It was an exciting day of competition and I think all the athletes did great. Congratulations to Bianca and Latario who are truly in a league of their own without much competition. I too felt Leevan Sands celebrated as if he had just won an Olympic gold medal instead of failing to qualify for the world championship. I think he needs to redirect his focus from celebrating his recovery from pain on the radio to focusing on winning and qualifying for the championship and Olympics. Then he'll really have a great story to tell. I look forward to day two of competition today.
