Emergency use authorization for kids now. WTH. What emergency? It is criminal what is going on. How many kids are sick now with diabetes and overweight from fast food? Yet nothing to see here go have another burger, fries, and extra large soda to wash it dow.
Bahamian here and I have been waiting now 3 years for a BL approval. 2 administrations, 2 MPs. 2 local government boards, and the list goes on. It is all bull shi$#T
And we still burning our garbage at dumpsites all across The Bahamas. Car tires, plastics, you name it. If we gonna burn it we could at least have a waste to energy power plant.
We have enough small islands just find one and put all the mask wearing, life destroying, testing and lockdown fanatics on it and let them self isolate for the rest of their lives. These people need to go back into a hole.
Well despite decreasing margins as a %. Banks take 4% if you use a card to pay for your purchase. So when gas is now close to 7 dollars the bank takes .28 cents of the .54 cents allowed for cards and government and banks are in a big push to go cashless. How can people pay to run a service station? Government making money, bank making money but, the merchant makes less and less. Bank card charges are a hidden tax no one thinks about. Imagine handling money basically via computer which costs nothing and getting 4% on every transaction.
