The 42% is correct and it was due to only leaving 4 weeks between first and second jabs in the US. A third booster jab will now be necessary. Nice little earner for the drugs companies. Israel has the same problem. Those countries, like the UK, that had a gap of 12 weeks, which was later reduced to 8 weeks, still have still effectiveness in the low 80% range. Fortunately in the B the gap was at least 8 weeks. I watch this daily update and it is packed with useful information.
