Too easy for the digital provider/bank or government to be able to freeze or sieze your funds with a simple mouse-click. At least with physical cash you have a chance to stay solvent….just ask the Canadian truckers.
My insurance expired in Dec 2024….my car license renewal was November 2024 so I had no trouble renewing my car license. But I thought I would update my insurance and renew it at the beginning of November so I would have 12 months of insurance to be ok with the new law. The insurance company refused….stupid.
How complicated can it be to recalculate and reset ones insurance policy to comply with the new regulations? It’s only complicated if the insurance companies want to make it complicated.
Silly system. I renewed my car license last week for 2025. My car insurance expires on December 10th. In past years I would have renew my insurance last week before going to road traffic…this year the insurance company told me no…I have to wait to renew my insurance until December.
I really don’t understand what the complication is for the auto insurers. My birth month is November and my car insurance renews in December. I went in to renew my insurance last week and asked them to just change the dates to align with the new government policy…..they refused…idiotic.
Total nonsense. Very few foods have actual expiry dates on them, infant formula is one, certain drugs also have expiry dates. Thats about it. Everything else, including milk, cheese and other dairy products among them, have “Best Before….” or “ Use by….” dates which are not safety related at all.
Government bureaucrats clueless as usual about anything outside their own myopic little kingdom. They are completely unable to connect the dots or use critical thinking.
