Is there going to be a vaccine merry-go-round as the virus seems to mutate every three to six months or so. Does this mean we are going to be vaccinated for every mutation by the apparently very concerned and well meaning politicians and medical professionals? Boosting natural and herd immunity would be cheaper and safer - or are they passé and financially unprofitable?
Our most valuable and deserving citizens are our government ministers and our medical professionals. They should be protected by the vaccine first - before anyone else. Then we wait five or ten years to make sure the vaccine works and have no unwanted side effects before we voluntarily line up the rest of the population for theirs. Now who is going to guarantee us - in writing - that there will be no adverse side effects?
I agree. And soon opening fully without testing will be inevitable, because we are desperate for cash inflow to purchase food and service debts. I advise everyone to research pcr testing and what it truly indicates.
I have posted before that we are on the cusp of food shortage and starvation. The food handout items provide empty calories which deplete our bodies of minerals and vitamins, as our bodies try to purge itself of the herbicides, pesticides, fungicides, preservatives, etc. Taking into account the very difficult times that are ahead of us, the foods we eat now should be building our bodies to survive then. Empty caloric foods with little nutrition are clearly counterproductive. Given the seriousness of the situation a speech about being ungrateful is an ignorant insult.
I have posted before that we are on the cusp of food shortage and starvation. Although the food handout items provide calories, they are empty calories that are depleting our bodies of vitamins and minerals as our bodies try to purge the chemicals (pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, artificial flavors, preservatives, etc..) . We are only at the beginning as the whole world is headed towards a food shortage. Our heath should be built up at this time to ensure that we survive through the coming food shortage and not degraded by empty calories. Given the seriousness of the situation a speech about being ungrateful is an ignorant insult.
The packages contain mainly starches and processed canned protein with little and questionable nutritional value. Of course, you know that most starches (esp grains - ie flour oat meal etc) are treated with glyphosate and other chemicals. These chemicals induce and aggravate diabetes and other conditions brought on by the SAD (standard american diet). Perhaps you would be extremely grateful to have your immune system compromised by such food at this time of pandemic.
In order to get herd immunity the alleged (not yet isolated) virus must spread throughout our communities. I suggest you research and digest what exactly a pcr test indicates.
Gina is the kind of doctor this country does not need. We do not have citizens dropping like sprayed flies and dying every where. We have citizens who have died from other causes and seemingly had the so called covid virus. A doctor who cannot understand the chemistry behind the tests that doctors administer is deficient. Her logic should now be focused on building herd immunity which we were promised initially would solve our problem. Healthy immune systems stop viruses not vaccines.
Mr. Cooper's points are good, but Mr. Cooper's first priority should be food security because the hour is late and it takes time to grow food. The Bahamas is at a very critical point for the survival of its people as the disaster of food shortages is overtaking us. Right now food security for the Bahamas should be at the forefront. Abnormal weather in North and South America, Europe, and Asia have caused significant crop loss. When coupled with the locust invasion of Africa, Asia, South America and now encroaching on North America along with increasing rodent populations which are spoiling stored grains - all added to the massive food production disruptions caused by the pandemic - a world wide food shortage is inevitable. The Bahamas must be geared to producing its own food as food importation will get difficult which will expose our population to the horrors of starvation.
