Dissemble \Dis*sem"ble\, v. i. To conceal the real fact, motives, intention, or sentiments, under some pretense; to assume a false appearance; to act the hypocrite.
Worldwide charities are known dissemblers, and there is no evidence that those in the Bahamas are the exceptions. It is only fitting that the organization Mr. Smith is involved with should also be investigated and the results disclosed to the weary public.
@Maximilianotto Some brown nosers seem to have developed permanent layers of crusts on their noses and they are attracted to deep pockets like flies to s**t. There are very few righteous billionaires, and all the rest of them are evil. Also the modus operandi these days is to bring in foreigners or hire the 'Hishun dem' crews for construction; then give the locals some low level low paying jobs such as maids, janitors, security, cook, etc... all the while bringing in foreigners for the jobs with any worth. My motto is that brown nosers are sellouts aka traitors.
John gleefully took customers from BTC; and now, like a spoiled brat, he is stamping his feet and finding all sorts of excuses as to why no other operator should target his customers.
@KapunkleUp I agree with your assessment of mismanagement; however, it was and is mismanagement due to ineptitude.
From American Heritage Dictionary inept: 1. Not apt or fitting; inappropriate. 2. a. Displaying a lack of judgment, sense, or reason; foolish: b. Bungling or clumsy; incompetent:
BPL is an electrical power entity and common sense would lead us to believe that the majority of its electrical engineers would be qualified electrical power engineers. Presently, how many of BPL's electrical engineers are qualified Electrical Power Engineers? A few years ago I counted zero!
In my youth I detested unions, and wondered why they were allowed to exist. However, after spending years in management and observing the practices of other managers and organizations, I realized that the overwhelming majority of managers are themselves evil. The unions are a necessary evil to counter the evils of management. BPL executives are possessed by demonic forces and are relentless in their evil doings; obviously, they detest fairplay and are ungracious sore LOSERS.
Some people have no shame. It looks like the security guards will have to pry those hands from their desks and forcefully escort them off the premises. Hopefully, a BPL staffer will post videos of their reluctant departures.
Well, alrightie now... So when the 'govmin dem' approve and get that half billion dollar BPL loan we will have two boards and unwanted executives spending that pile of cash. I wonder what would be the percentage effectiveness from that massive cash infusion, which we may not be able to repay given the global trend of restriction in movement and global rewilding.
