I remember this same man encouraging them to strike when he was in opposition, now he is in govt.it is obvious the political mileage gained during that time, now the shoes are on the other foot.

losing a loved one through natural causes is difficult, what do you think when somebody is brutally murdered?well i am sorry,i cant just accept that,i believe in an eye for an eye,i dont hear no sympathy for the victims, who cry out on their behalf?i remember growing up i had a family member who was raped, murdered and dumped in the bush like a dog, mercy my ass! hang that sucker!

wail his ass with the cat, then sentence him to 50 years in jail,by that time he should be able to limp into a wheel chair,he wouldn't harm nobody no more, some measures may not deter crime but I know one thing that individual will not carry out another act like that for the rest of his life!

for those who were slacking off all along get up off your backsides and do something!for those who were working all along keep up the good work!

I am no fan of Mr Butler, but I do agree with him,if you wanted your job you would have been there, you reported sick?its a coincidence all you all was sick the same time?i am sure there are plenty young pilots out there looking for employment, this has been going on too long in this country, where employees do all sorts of shit and get away with it,now they crying about they got fired?fire more if the rest of them still there!

we makin the salary, but if you want to live,a modest home, light ,water, phone, cable, groceries, etc, the list goes on for the basic necessities of everyday life in the Bahamas, the cost of living is extremely high!disposeable income is almost non existant,i wouldnt talk about savings,it is almost impossible to save, either you cut off one of your utilities or do without something in order to save a buck,it is just to expensive!

I think we have to give the police our support, despite the negativity surrounding the 12 hour shift,i know it is a difficult time for those officers who have thier own familes as well, but i think so far we have seen a decrease in major crimes,we must give credit for that, but if this 12 hours is burning out the men,it is obvious what the problem is,manpower, hire more officers,at least 400 that should be a good boost to the force,we need it,times have changed the population has grown tremendously,3000 officers is just not sufficient,we need more police, but hats off to all the hard working officers, you are doing your best, keep up the good work.
