A ship can only have one Captain,it is obvious there are some in the FNM hellbent on giving the present Government victory at the polls by their own selfish reasons of pulling down the current leader,Dr Minnis may not be the expert polictician as the former PM HAI,but he is a decent man and I think he is trying his best no matter the detractors who try to pull him down, the people will decide who will be the next Government of the Bahamas, not a group of selfish individuals who want to destroy unity in the party, one thing about the plp, they have thier faults but they stick together like a team should.

this country isn't for sale,it was bought years ago, when one group of persons who made millions can influence the governing party, some of these persons were have alleged to be in other illegal activities before this racket, now thanks to the govt, they are all upstanding citizens, welcome to the Bahamas.

bismark says...

This should have been done a long time ago,we as a people are to lax in our laws, those illegal structures should have never been allowed to be built in the first place, people will always complain about when the govt starts to put their foot down,it has to start somewhere, now I hope it continues, many of these illegal communities are around and need to be Eradicated,Joe Farrington Road,Fire Trail Road,Bacardi Road, these communities are in full view of authorities, round them up and send them back without no status, those that are here legally, let them go and get proper housing, these

villages are a no no and they must be and will be Eradicated in due time.

I agree with the above writer,is the police doing enough?it seems to me that any one can ride around anytime of day anywhere with an AK47 or any other high powered weapon and don't ever be detected, but the police are quick to pull you over for missing plate or some other minor traffic infraction, but the Criminals in known areas are free to roam and do what they want and the police know who the criminals are, known criminals are known and the police cannot seem to do anything with these scum who have a bunch of young illiterates worshipping them as some Demi God.

Dr Major is seen to be a fair and decent individual, regardless of his political side I think that he is fair in his dealings in the house of assembly as speaker, those two clowns should be arrested and brought to the P.A.C. in handcuffs. The P.A.C. by law has a right to know what happen to the peoples money and Pratt and Allen can Dodge all they want, once they are summoned they will appear.

I would have to agree with Mr Pinder on this one, many are qualified in the civil service is correct,The Minister does not have his facts together, due to the lousy running of this country, many joined jobs in the civil service, where they are underpaid for their qualifications just to have a job, because the lousy governments don't put infrastructure in to advance the economy where jobs can be created, every administration takes the easy way out, hotel, hotel, when we cant fill the damn ones we have now.

bismark says...

well there you go young people,if you are determined enough to want to get an education it is obvious you are not as dumb as the majority in this country who vote these crooked ,no good lousy lying politicians in every election, vote them suckers out and if the next administration isn't making any sense vote them out also and if we stand together it doesn't have to be five years of them sitting their backsides in parliament and just doing what they want,Education is the strength of a country ,but not to these pirates we have running this country,i say all young people, vote in your best interest,as for that President who was accused of plagarism, get rid of him he don't deserve that salary he is getting.

bismark says...

the police voted this man in,it was their election.

that's why the country is the way it is right now, people on the island have no respect for the law,i have witnessed it numerous times, they never done nothing as they always claim.
