Please please let this be true Junkanoo this is the Bahamain pastime the love goes beyond our skin flesh and bones but to the very core of our soul in the Bahamas. Now that I'm living abroad I will be turned in on my computer connect to my 45 inch television to watch our favorite pastime it will be a pleasure to see if you can eliminate the gaps thank you very much.
The bottom line is a student has died a young student has died at the age of 16 where do we go from here. As a nation where do we go from here. My condolences to the family.. the African proverb says it takes a village to bring up a child. Amen

As a Bahamain living abroadI couldn't believe the negativity and the narrow minded thinking of our people.Are we not a tourism destination the carnival will be good for to us in the long run.and what are the outlets do we have for bahamain musician.this is a great way to get our music recognized worldwide,and a good opportunity to advertise our big junkanoo festival in December and don't forget I rake and scrape Festival in cat Island.we need to stop being so P LP , FNM and DNA and start being bahamains start being a nationalist.God bless the Bahamas
