At long last i can see the begin of the end to a bad corrupt system, dream up by a little man and his friend that made them very rich and powerful, one of the men has gone ,the other, dont feel well, the era gone, new day ahead, ill tell you like the hurricane told the coconut tree,"Hold on to your nuts, this aint your basic blow job"hard working people will not feel it as they have always work for what they have, however, the bullshitters,at there old age will have to loose what they have ,and start all over again.no matter how it looks for a while, there are no free meals, and you get nothing for nothing.as for the union guy well he"s afraidof losing that big money and power,he wield for years.you take that away and he is nothing,he is no fool he can read ,he can see the writing on the wall.Bahamians,Welcome to a new bright bahamas.

there only 20%bahamian business in the country run by bahamians that do not depend on the goverment for there success,l the remaining 80% closed down,or close too after the PLP lost the last election and even a few of the 20%are owned by a foreigner and/or a white bahamian who direct the business So mr minister where are you going to find a group of bahamians to run, this company.all this new company can do ,is to hire an expert to run the company for them and bring ijust getting rich and richer of the not to forn there own people for key spots, then take a chance on some honest knownegable local person, your best bet for the country is for you and brent and the greek to make this investmen and bring in an experienced company to run it,besides, dont you rich bahamians think it is time to invest bin your own country instead of getting wealthy of your own people?

I hate to agree with some of these losers(above)but I am myself suffering from illegal actions in the area that I reside, which is zoned as residental, one is operating a garage, one has set up a trucking business, with old leaking oil in the ground tractor head, including a trailor for an office, and one has managed to build an apt building consisting of ten units ,on a corporal salary. reminds me of the days when my good friend a inspector use to go to work in a brand new fire engine red mercedes, and park it in the commissioner parking space, and he dare not ask him to move it, you remember that fellas?(,the neighbors in the area that are not cowards have been roperting ,these things for years, you heard me YEARS.therefore I am force to agree with some of the people above that are bad mouthing the goverment, because they cannot control their agents, stay tune ,Iwill be more detailed in my next letter to the editor.

drop it,no one has to get permission from the bahamian goverment to do what oban want to do,the land, thesea, the sky, all is own by the royal family telling this goverment what they are going to do was just a courtsey, besides they still didnt tell us what they are really doing.your really not important, you just happen to be here, oban will be here long after we are a minority.and this place will look like a true paradise,we had it for over fifty years and have no or very improvment,we cant even keep our streets clean, the place look better when we were subjects of the crown,we were given a chance to rule ourselves and we blew it ,black crab worst than the white crab syndrom, that also made very little improvement, well anyway good luck over the coming six years.watchout for the man with the red tie,he is bringing death and water destruction from the east,

illegals did'nt think it was iillegal after seeing that bahamians were doing the same thing ,and not being punished for it.prudence say ..charity begins at home..in other words We have to lead by example.come on Bahamians let us make this the most sort after little country in yhe world again.older people from sixty and older.start to tell your grand children about the days when walking home after droping the gal home after the show, that the onlything you were afraid off was ghost, not someone trying to rob you. those were the good old days, and they can come back again if we clean up our act. please remember to have a merry christmas.and a proud new year. live long and prosper ' bobnevil'

See why i am not a Christian?not one word from the holy ones, they are to busy trying to get the guv..to stop the bill that look like it may stop or look into their money washing bussines, and tings of that nature, they should have jumped on this dress code for the bahamas not just immigration but every public office and business,,. in the country. But what do they care, more corruption brings less deginity, which generate more bad money, money, for the church,or so they say, check em out tq anyway I agree with the dress code 139%

well we can see what Ping,,,,, mastered in at that whiteman college somewhere.'how to hate the hand that taught and feed you'.leave it to that way of thinking and we will look like Bain town sooner than expected.Me and mine agree with mr Symonlette 100% every gov building should have the GUTS and follow suit, that will begin a new mindset in this country again, someone should tell these about the times when you could'nt go to a movie, yea the show over the hill without a coat.and when you came out ,at midnight to walk home, three four miles, no one robbed or kill you. bring those days back, we could you know.but we have to start by dressing properly, every day,at home and on the streets.
