The only persons who went against the vote of tens of thousands of PLPs, fnms , dnas, every other voter are..... 25 plp members of Parliament.....the FNM MPs voted against it.....in Parliament to legalise web shops. Cannot hold it against all their supporters

It must be advertized such that many parents and others who are on the margins do not deprive themselves of getting medical help because the few dollars could otherwise be spent on necessities for those in their care. Many of us who grew up know what mama and papa, grammy often did.
The Minister after the first set of sliding scale was created by govt and after the protesters showed up...then spoke of 'adjusting its new sliding scale scheme if it proves too onerous. during his sppeech as part of budget debate last night.
While the sliding scale may be flexible.....as long as one side creates the ranges and percentage numbers it is still what one side wants to extract. One particular web shop obviously feels strongly against because at the numbers indicated they seem to be boxed in.
Fully agree wid Joebloe strict accounting controls are needed which we should have in plentiful supply as the govt has significant experiemce in operating many financial concerns.

Number of ways to ger funds....sell som of these entities the gpvt have continuously taking money out of the cookies jar to prop up dere friends, families and who ever and sitting on Boards of Directors overseeong these entitoes losing money ..... Papa was smart to do Batelco...to a company...for 51% knowing what they would invest and upgrade would also increase value for all... Regretably, to sell and strategise this way to cut losses, revitalize move fro greater synergies does not seem to exist. For starters should not have 3 entotoes doing the same basic ting....Bank of the Bahamas, Bahamas Mortgage Corporation, Bahamas Deveelopment Bank....each are engaged in lending, each have offocers wid da same roles, each pays light bills, water ets.. All of these entities have been propped up. Other avenues exist to offer leases to companies to develop certain resources...create jobs....
...dats what causing the problem....too many sorrowfull pastors....sorrowing for these plain wutless no good....criminals.... .. Dey needin to stop the protecting these wutless ....people..annd do the Church work....teach the Ten Commandments...to dese children so dey dont stray fron the path get out of politics and let the darn law punish dese criminals....if yinna pastors want to be politicians get out of the church robes....shameful if yinna aint know by now on serving two masters !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
