The magistrate should have told them that not only was this trip in a unmarked, withoit radar vessel a danger to their lives....but more importantly it posed an extremely dangerous cathostrophe to legitimate licensed certified bahamian vessels....mailboats, cruise dhips,...bahamian fishermen ..who also use these bahamian shipping channels.

Who was the captain and the crew responsible for the vessel ???......who should have been questioned further by Bahamas Intelligence and jailed so that he does not captain another boat endangering more lives .....one month later.
VAT works because of the private sector ....at least many businesses in helping to implement would have been smart to grasp the opportunity to also ....factor in their initial expenses...by increasing the cost of the srrvice product first ...and then adding the 7.5% on top and then rounding off numbers to eliminate the use of coins..for a final price...Businesses are there to make profits....they do not tolerate inefficiencies..that is why govt should have offloaded many of the agencies it keeps subsidizing year after year.instead of squeezing businesses barely surviving. How is the no VAT on water bill less than $50 going to work if the standatd rental fee for water meter is $36 and the standatd Sewage chatge is $37.70....??....this seems to benefit only homeowners using cesspits....out house...latrines...???...which causes pollution contamination.?.
...what about all dis talk about accountability...transparency.....and the financial terms of this acquisition remains a state secret.....????????????.........
