You are aware that the pundits, uneducated, ill advised, arrogant, entitled politicians are going to rake you over the coals for such as stance/commentary? The reason for those people doing so? Because you are calling them to task on this matter, holding them accountable, actually making a stand....hope you can weather the storm, name calling etc....
customer service is a direct reflection of an individuals upbringing and attitude about themselves and their society. Both in short supply here in Nassau for sure!
When will the local media grow up and do what they are supposed to do? Which as a local political observer/commentator has stated, the purpose of the press is to "report information accurately, truthfully, factually, contextually, knowledgeably, ethically, with balance, without bias or agenda and without favor or fear - no matter WHO the information is about. Anything less than or outside of that is either public relations, propaganda or both - but it is not journalism" And the media's job is to be the watchdogs for a society and hold to the fire, the feet of all public officials..... the media is not supposed to show anyone preferential treatment - so people who are mad need to get informed, grow up in our democracy, and get over it.......

So, apparently Mr. Halkitis, anyone with 1/2 a brain who 1) asks questions regarding any government sponsored initiative, 2) demands accountability, 3) tired of lies from their officials etc falls into those "certain circles" or "self interest" category you talk about. Maybe one easy solution for your problems is to answer our questions, be accountable and care for your fellow Bahamians!

Debts owed should be paid....regardless of who they are owed to....and it' seems your typical mindset of "spend other peoples money"...but lets not pay them back...typical stupidity and ignorance....that's why Bahamas is 2nd world country trying really hard to be a 3rd...with people like you this county is on the fast track to 3rd world status....grow up..!
