I was a chinese food lover and I admit to eating chinese food a lot. However after watching that video and doing some research on this 'gutter oil' I was very shocked and motionless for 5 mins. I vow to never support or eat chinese food never in my life again. It created the feeling that you cannot trust these chinese people and their food. I wish that the health inspectors investigate all the chinese restaurants in the Bahamas and shutdown these restaurants and arrest anyone found to be using that disgusting oil.

Its time to retire these old people outta these jobs so the young people could have the chance to work and gain experience. When ya got the skills they want qualification, when ya get qualification they want experience. Well how the hell we are suppose to gain experience if they don't give us the chance to. People aren't even willing to train others in certain areas.

You could never find a job in this country bey. I finished BTVI with a Associates in IT Management and still unable to find a job relating to this. Now I have to resort into joining one of the law enforcement. Even though its not something I dreamed of doing but its my only source. I don't want to resort into leaving my country to find a career elsewhere but ain't nothing the Bahamas could offer. SMT this is ridiculous and it just frustrates me when they talk about unemployment. That's the dangers of living in a 3rd world country. Always demanding for a college degree. I worked my butt off to get mine but ain't getting nothing in return from it. My IT certifications are now expired and now I can't even include them on my resume anymore. Some people just cannot afford higher education and this government needs to understand that. Good thing I didn't went out there because I would have left long time. I've been without work for 6 months now and im still awaiting to join Bahamas immigration.

I've finished BTVI in December 2014 with a degree in IT Management. Even though i've been looking for work during my last semester but couldn't find any. Now its the new year and I am unable to start a career in IT when living in my own country. How are we youths suppose to gain experience in the workforce is they are not giving us a chance to? Explain that? No wonder when we go to college abroad the majority of us do not return to the Bahamas because the Bahamas has nothing to offer them so what are we coming back to and what for?

I believe that the laws of the Bahamas needs to be stricter and harsher and enforced to the fullest otherwise other people will find in necessary to do whatever they want in this country. If I was the Prime Minister today I would introduce the Bahamas Act for stricter laws and harsher penalties for law breakers. When it comes to illegal immigrants I would introduce a proper visa system and a permanent residence card that immigrants should have with them at all times if they want to reside and work here legally. The Bahamas immigrant should start doing routine checks in certain neighborhood and businesses known to house and employ immigrants and start checking them for PR and work permits. All government and private schools should not allow children of illegal immigrants to attend our schools. I would also make it illegal for an employer to employ illegal immigrants and issue heavy fines if found doing so and squatting on people's land is a definite serious offense and will be dealt with to the fullest extent of the law

How could they come in our country and disrespect our flag like that? It makes me sick just hearing about it. Send all of them back home to Haiti where they belong. This is a English speaking country and if I was the Prime Minister today all birth by illegal immigrants will not qualify for permanent residence and will be refused Bahamian citizenship in the future and will be sent back to their country of origins and is not allowed back in the Bahamas for 10 years. This is a small country and we Bahamians must protect our culture.

Way a go Long Islanders. Continue to stay on guard on the island. Let that be an example to the other island especially Abaco and New Providence. Work together and run all those illegal immigrants out our country we don't need them here. We should be recruiting the Long Islanders as the immigration officers of the Bahamas. If I was the Prime Minister today automatic deportation of non-Bahamians who have no legal status here and don't bring them to New Providence, and also all Bahamians will help their government to chase and round up those illegal immigrants and take them into custody and send all them back to Haiti.
