If I heard correctly, the top cop is ready to close the web shops down on Monday if the 'No' vote wins? This amazes me for two reasons: 1) Why wait until Monday to close them down, it has been illegal for 40+ years, close them down today because it is illegal today and 2) Even if the 'Yes' vote wins on Monday, web shop gaming will still be illegal until legislation is passed; which will be months or maybe years. Either way the web shops need to be closed, and the admitted criminals fined and punished, until the day legislation is passed to make it legal. By the way, I would like to see gaming legalized (and heavily taxed) for all Bahamians in web shops and in casino's.
