You want us to crash into a economic depression ,cut government spending too quickly .Did austerity get Europe out of the recession ?? Our tourist arrivals are down about 4 % ,,cut government spending too rapidly and our economy will crash and our dollar will be worth about 40 cents to the US dollar and there will be a cash flight like you can,t imagine . The PLP blew through and stole much of 3 billion dollars , much of it stashed over seas , as much as I hate borrowing if we did not no civil service would be paid ,considering 1 in 4 work for the government the economy would crash .The way out is a 10 year freeze on hiring civil service and cut corruption

It is a balancing act ,if you cut government spending too quickly the economy will crash , if you send home tens of thousands of civil service workers you will have hungry people losing their homes and civil unrest . You have to quit hiring civil service employees for the next ten years .Start getting revenue from the Airbnb rentals ,,
On another note the PLP used foreign consultants for everything even the gaming referendum ,,this was to get money out of the country and into their ,The PLPS ,accounts ,,an rough guesstimate would be at least 500 million to a billion stolen in the last five years ,,geez 40 million alone walked out of Road traffic ,,another 100 odd million from BOB ,,
This was theft on a massive scale

There are a couple of things happening , One our air arrivals are down .For two reasons , Cuba is opening and people are no longer going to pay high prices for bad service ,secondly w/ Arbnb ,home away etc tourist on the Island I live choose to stay in homes instead of run down small boutique hotels w high prices . Secondly no country can tax or borrow enough to continue to have 1 in 4 people on the government payroll ,,
Air arrivals are down another 3.6 % which means less revenue , I think apart from Abaco and Exuma they have been down the last couple of years and the PLP fudged the figures ,,

Pindling did great things in his first 10 years , but a degree from a non accredited Faux University that turns out 10 grade level students at best for a London trained and degreed Lawyer is no honor ,,,

Our education is a mess and the University is a University in name only ,,are University is not producing students w/ even a 10 grade level ,,its about as idiotic as that "shock treatment " w people shouting at kids w bad English .When I took the Capt license course by the Coast guard in the US you had to pass w 90 .When I took my Bahamian Capts License you needed 70% to pass and got 30% for taking the course ,,Do you want a boat Capt , that passes w / getting 40% of the questions on the test right ..We have been lowering the passing grades to cover up for our falling education system ..You regularly see teachers and their union leaders on TV that can,t speak proper English ,and I,m not talking accent ,or conjugate a sentence To bring in foreign teachers now would be a waste of time and money ,they could not discipline our little darlins ,and if they did their mothers would try to harm them physically .
