A blind man could of seen a week out this was a disaster . first who approved it for regatta week ,,,next .local government weren,t checkin some of them had contracts ,, the fully staffed MOT on the island must of saw something different than us ,,and the MP was out there days before ,,and enviromental health ?? Someone should have stood up and saved up some dignity and bad press and pulled the permit

Who approved it for regatta week ? ., Dam looking at the site for the last two weeks ,and who and what equipment was contracted a blind man could of told you this was a disaster .People from local government ,some who had contracts , on up to the MOT who have a fully staffed office on the Island,to enviromental health , to the MP that was on site days before should of been saying ,,no way ,no how ,,and pulled the plug ..

We approved this mess and weeks and days before our officials could see this was a disaster , but too many of local government had contracts for busing etc ,,we did what we always do took the money ..It will be interesting to see who got the big contracts for the NEMA tents etc ..I saw who got the contracts etc ,,and who ,which MP approved this for Regatta week , they had to get approval ..As another poster said ,our problem is we never take responsibility for anything ,in public ,governance or our private lives

Because someone does not believe the Bible , Koran , or Torah is the literally word of god does not automatically mean they do not have ethics or morals .They may even believe in a creator . Actually the world is experiencing one of the most peaceful periods in awhile , w/ less war worldwide and violent crime trending down in the major industrialized nations .I know it does not seem so b/c w/ 24 hour news coverage we now see everything ,also people who believe an apocalyptic war will bring their messiah , basically Islam ,Christianity,Judaesm ,,want to believe the end is near ..The facts don,t support their believe
