Where do you get your facts .Cuba is changing rapidly under Raul .I know I go there and my partner in work has a daughter there .The Cuban resorts now have special discounted rates for Cubans to come stay in the resorts in the slow months .Cubans can now own resturaunts etc They can also rent their rooms/homes to tourist and had the largest sign up ever on ABNB when the US travel embargo was eased . It is not perfect but the start toward capitalism is changing things .Google is there working on IT infrastructure .Cubans in Miami are sending money for their relatives to fix up their places for ABNB ,,Home away etc ..As a Bahamian that has been going there since the eighties ,,we in the Bahamas better step up our game ..The service in Cuba is excellent ,they have 4000 Keys/Cays ,beaches like ours ,mountains ,,culture ..Don,t let your right wing ideology cloud your judgement .Cuba has been doing 3 million stopover tourist a year w/ out the US market ,the Bahamas only does 1.3 million stopover w/ the US market .
