Can anyone confirm that the Haitian Community known as the farm has been bulldozed down like the Peas and Mudd and Sand Banks? Last aerial photo I saw of that area, there were NEW tents along with damaged homes.

These increases will be just another 'death blow' to the communities of Grand Bahama and Abaco as they struggle to recover from the damages caused by Hurricane Dorian. Way to go Nassau. You really know how to run a Country (NOT)

For the benefit of the uninformed; there is no clear owner of the land known as Pigeon Peas. It is a small portion of the 246 acres of land granted to Nathan Key. To this day NO ONE has clear title to any of this land, even tho many 'claim' it as their own. Currently, ownership of this land is before the Supreme Court.

Better he decides to stop printing ALL Bahamian Coin and Notes and adopt the US Dollar as legal tender.

Well, there is one thing the Government can bank on; should they drag their feet on getting Abaco back to some semblance of its former self, they will have to tighten their belt or look to Red China for a sweet loan. Better they bite the bullet and get the economy churning as it was prior to the hurricane, and reap the benefits of enhanced inflows to the Treasury.
The world will not wait for three to five years for Abaco to recover. People take vacations every year. When they find another 'spot', Good Bye Bookie.

Go ahead and change the subject from the crisis at hand.
No matter how the FNM 'found' the Marsh Harbour Port in 2017, it has had two full years to correct the situation.
Notice the Port Director advised Nassau AFTER the Coast Guard issued its warning a month ago.
So, if the issues have persisted for two full years, and suddenly they could be resolved in less than 4 weeks, it begs the question of what has the Port Director and those responsible been doing in the interim?
Such problems can be addressed only if we focus on those who are currently in a position of responsibility and who are being paid to perform these duties. It makes no sense to blame previous employees when current ones have had sufficient opportunity to bring things up to date. In other words, don't take the People's Money if you are not willing to earn it. My 2 cents.

The Doppler Radar which was installed at the Marsh Harbour Airport some time ago has not been active at all this year. Why go to the expense of purchasing such high priced items when the Government has no clue as to how to put them to use.

We have been through the 2018 Hurricane Season and the Abaco Doppler Radar is standing silently.

Do some research on what is being done in Central Abaco to find out what is being done to improve the tourism product. A real success story. Could be duplicated nationwide.

Once W&S turns off the water supply, Ministry of Works should follow closely behind and declare the home/business as untenable. This should force the occupants to vacate the premises until the water is turned back on, and MOW issues a fresh Occupancy Certificate. If you are going to do a thing, do it effectively and right
