Population: USA 315,000,000 Bahamas 350,000. This gives a ratio of 900 to 1. So based on this ratio, 100 homicides per year in the Bahamas would equate to 90,000 homicides in the US. Am I missing something?
I agree with lazybor - I'll believe it when I see it! Meantime, I would guesstimate that the present generators are guzzling some 250,000 litres of fuel per day. (US gallons 65,800)
The whole transport thing is a joke... the jitneys... meaningless vehicle inspections (a cheap way to collect lots of money with nought to show for it) ... and the boring list goes on, and on ad nauseum.
Assume the population ration of the US vs Bahamas as being approximately 1,000: 1... So, 100 homicides per annum in the Bahamas would equate to 100 x 1,000 in the US. You do the maths!
The Surrey horse operations should have been brought to an end years ago. They are no longer a 'quaint' sight - they are an eyesore - mainly because of the visual poor state of health of the animals.
