Well, as the death penalty is no longer carried out here (even though it still remains on the books), the mere thought at 23 years of age of spending the rest of your life behind bars must be very daunting - if that fact has yet sunk into his head. What a complete and utter waste of two lives - his and the victim - and all for what?.
Just the sort of bad press the Bahamas doesn't need - irrespective of who is to blame for all the delays etc. etc. When someone recently said that 'Baha Mar is to too big to fail' they forgot the old saying 'The bigger they are the harder they fall'. Notwithstanding any of this, I DO wish this project all success even though I would like to have seen these monies invested in the family islands instead.
Obviously he's never heard the saying, 'The bigger they are the harder they fall'. Having said that, I most sincerely wish Baha Mar to be a great success whenever it does (eventually) open.
A gentle man and a gentleman. It was a privilege to have known him for some 40 years. He will be missed but his music will live on to remind us of him and the pleasure he gave to millions with his singing. A class act!
