Why don't people want to hire Bahamians first? Employer does not need work permit, provide housing, flights etc. Should be easy for Bahamians to compete against this?
Why not just VAT tax. Business Lic tax, import duty tax, VAT tax, it's all too complicated and costs government too much to have many different departments. Raise the VAT and get rid of the other taxes!
