How in the hell do these illegal immigrants continue to penetrate 250 miles into our sovereign waters before we can locate them ................ with the four new RBDF craft out on patrol????????????
This Wrinkle vs BEC case was designed to discredit Wrinkle ............ and yes, the politicians have NO intentions of passing a Contractors' Bill in Parliament to regulate this wild west industry....................... just look at what happened at BAMSI and Bahamar in recent months
The FNM had it right ................... create a NHI programme that can assist the most needy with prescription services and catastrophic health problems ............ improve the public health care infrastructure by completing an upgraded Rand, PMH and Exuma hospitals as regional hospitals and monitor the private insurance industry that allows the average Bahamian can afford basic insurance coverage for non-catastrophic health services.
That can be done for far less than the projected $600 million to $1 billion
At least we know where he stands .................... we can respect that and make our voting decision in 2017 based on what he does in the next 18 months.
VAT is not a panacea .............. if the government gets rid of the 30% pork in the budget and collect the present regime of non-VAT taxes OR scrap our tax system and introduce a 3 tier income tax system on all Bahamians earning more than $25,000 per annum, we will be fine.
But with the present inefficiency/political cronyism that we experience now, VAT is a burden to the country.
Wonder how Paul Major's balance sheet is looking ............ his self-imposed 21-days reporting date is fast approaching .................. should we hold our breath???????????
Did anyone stop to investigate this vandalism as a crime scene???????? ....... or is the MP and Carey just looking at this as a prank???????????
This is a prime example of the dysfunction that has permeated our society and public spaces .................... it shows a lack of concern and care for our hallowed public spaces or private property
