Have you ever been to Jamaica? did you know of a population of approximately 3million people we have a poverty rate of 14.3%? while the poverty rate in your country is 14.8% and most of these athletes attend some of the most prestigious high schools in Jamaica and in the Caribbean and they do excel in academia so saying track is a means of getting out of Jamaica is a highly flawed and ignorant, and saying Jamaicans are look for the next big break is ridiculous. Maybe because the talent pool in Jamaica is greater you're just jealous?
