We were in Nassau about three weeks ago and to tell you the truth we wont be back there if we can help it. They need to clean up the area where the ships dock, there was a police official at every corner in the immediate area as well. When your country seems to be depending on the money that tourists bring in then I would think first and foremost you would keep the area clean around the perimeter where the ships dock. We went for a good 3-4 mile walk in the area and weren't impressed.

When you have upward of 15 thousand people at a time being dumped into the little town there, then make it presentable and that includes that beach that is close by. Admit it Nassau and stop whining about what people say about it there because people need to know what Nassau offers and quite frankly you know what's going on with robberies etc. etc. because you wouldn't have a cop on every corner. So fix the problem and stop brushing it aside. Maybe its time they replace the Chief Superintendent. Let someone else who knows what's going on with their town do the job.
